Turkish officials say two women who attacked police in Istanbul have been killed.
The two women attacked police with gunfire and a grenade on March 3 before hiding in a building in the Bayrampasa district.
They died in a shootout with police.
Two police officers were hurt in the attack.
The banned Revolutionary People's Liberation Party-Front (DHKP-C) claimed responsibility for the attack.
Turkey says the extreme-left group has killed dozens of police officers and soldiers along with civilians in more than three decades.
The DHKP-C aims at replacing the Turkish government with a Marxist one and opposes what it calls U.S. imperialism.
