Kazakh Gunman Given Death Sentence For 'Terrorist' Attack

A Kazakh court has sentenced a man to death for the killing of nine police officers in an attack described as a "terrorist act." A judge in Almaty read out the sentence, after 26-year-old Ruslan Kulekbaev pleaded guilty to murder, attempted murder, and terrorism. (RFE/RL's Kazakh Service)
