Swollen Kyrgyz Rivers Wash Out Roads And Bridges

Heavy rains caused rivers to swell, washing out bridges and roads in parts of Kyrgyzstan. The Naryn River rose to flood levels as a result of storms. In the Issyk-Kul region, the harsh weather caused rock slides in mountainous areas. (RFE/RL's Kyrgyz Service)
