A Lithuanian security official has said the investigation into the hammer attack on Russian dissident Leonid Volkov, an ally of late Kremlin critic Aleksei Navalny, shows it was "professional" and "well-planned." A spokesman for Russian President Vladimir Putin said on March 14 that he could not comment on the attack, which left Volkov badly injured.
