The International Criminal Court has found Congolese warlord Thomas Lubanga Dyilo guilty of using children as soldiers.
Lubanga, who was accused of recruiting and deploying child soldiers during a five-year conflict in Congo that lasted until 2003, was found guilty on March 14 by the court in The Hague, Netherlands.
He faces a maximum sentence of life imprisonment when he is sentenced.
The ruling was the first by the International Criminal Court since it was established a decade ago as the world's first permanent war crimes tribunal.
