36 Killed In Attack On Afghan Army Center

Afghan officials said that 36 people have been killed in a suicide attack on an army recruitment center in the northern city of Konduz.

More than 40 others were reported to have been injured in the incident.

On March 11, the Konduz Province police chief was killed by a suicide bomber.

The province has become increasingly unstable over the last few years as the Taliban have infiltrated the area.
