Militants Attack Police Station In NW Pakistan

A militant attack on a police station in northwest Pakistan has left three militants dead and at least three police officers wounded.

The attack started when at least one suicide bomber blew himself up and militants opened fire with automatic weapons and grenade launchers at the police station in Dera Ismail Khan city, near the South Waziristan tribal area.

Police spokesman Mohammad Hanif said that in addition to the suicide bomber, police shot dead two militants.
