Moscow Confirms Bomb Brought Down Russian Plane

The head of Russia's Federal Security Service, Aleksandr Bortnikov, briefed Russian President Vladimir Putin on the results of the investigation into the October 31 downing of a Russian passenger jet on Egypt's Sinai Peninsula. He confirmed a bomb blew apart the aircraft in midair killing all 224 people on board. After observing a minute of silence in honor of the victims, Putin vowed to hunt down those responsible.
