Bomb Attack Targets Sufi Shrine In Pakistan, Kills Two

Pakistani police say a blast killed two people and wounded at least 10 others at a Sufi shrine in the southern province of Sindh.

The bomb went off on February 25 at Shah Lakhi Ghulam shrine in the city of Shikarpur, where devotees had gathered to pay homage to a Sufi saint buried there.

No one has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.

It was the second attack targeting a Sufi figure or location in Sindh province in recent days.

Last week, the grandson of a prominent Sufi cleric was killed in a bomb attack, which apparently targeted the cleric’s convoy.
