Deadly Bus Blast In Pakistan

Pakistani officials say 11 people have been killed in a bomb explosion on a bus in the southwestern city of Quetta.

Officials said at least 20 people were wounded in the blast, which occurred as the bus was traveling from the city center to the nearby town of Saryab on October 19.

Police believe an explosive device with a timer had been used in the attack.

No one has claimed responsibility for the blast.

Quetta is the capital of Baluchistan Province, which has been the scene of a low-level insurgency by Baloch separatist groups.

Islamic militants also operate in the province.
