Death Toll Rises In Pakistani Mosque Collapse

Officials in Lahore said on September 10 the death toll from the collapse of a mosque in the city has risen to at least 24 people.

The accident happened on September 9 during afternoon prayers.

Authorities said monsoon rains likely weakened the structure and caused the roof to collapse.

Officials believe there were some 30 people in the mosque at the time of the collapse.
