Pakistani Railway Bomb Kills At Least Two

Pakistani police say a bomb blast at the main railway station in Lahore has killed at least two people and injured at least 20.

Five of the injured were listed as being in a critical condition in hospital.

Police say the bomb exploded outside a waiting room in the station on April 24.

Investigators say they estimate that six to eight kilograms of explosives were planted in a bag and left near a counter where it was detonated.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility.

Authorities said they were investigating how somebody managed to take the bag through several security scanners.

Lahore is the capital of Pakistan's Punjab province and is the second largest city in the country.
