Authorities in the Philippines say more than 200 people are missing after a ferry sank when it collided with a container ship.
Officials said on August 17 that at least 28 people were confirmed dead in the incident, which occurred in waters outside the port of Cebu.
Coast Guard officials said more than 600 people had been rescued, many by fishing boats that went to the scene.
Divers have been sent below the sea surface to search the wreckage for victims.
