Plane Crashes Into Crowd At U.S. Air Show

At least nine people are reported dead and some 50 injured after a World War II plane crashed into a crowd of spectators at an air show in the southwest U.S. state of Nevada.

Television footage showed the plane, a P51 Mustang, spinning before plummeting to the ground near a grandstand in the city of Reno.

Bloodied bodies were spread across the area as people tended to the victims and ambulances rushed to the scene.

Reports said the plane's pilot was 74 years old.
