Hundreds of passengers were delayed in Poland's capital, Warsaw, as a result of a cyberattack against the national air carrier, LOT.
The airline said in a statement on Facebook on June 22 that the attack began in the afternoon on June 21 and was resolved at about 9 p.m. local time.
Ten flights departing Warsaw were canceled because of the attack, grounding some 1,400 passengers.
A LOT spokesman told Polish television that it was the first time the airline had ever suffered such an attack.
The attack targeted the airline's ground operations and prevented it from creating flight plans.
Poland's security services are investigating the incident.
