Putin Signs Bill On Confiscation Of Assets Linked To 'False' Info About Military

Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 14 signed into law a bill allowing for the confiscation of property and assets of individuals convicted of distributing "false" information about Russia's armed forces; calls to violate Russia's territorial integrity; calls for sanctions against Russia and its citizens; collaborating to implement decisions by international organizations Russia does not take part in; the "rehabilitation of Nazism"; and other charges related to laws adopted after Moscow launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
