Five Militants Reported Killed In Fighting In Daghestan

Russian officials report that security forces stormed a militant hideout in the Caucasus republic of Daghestan, killing five suspected insurgents on April 19. Video distributed by the National Antiterrorism Committee shows the fighting in the village of Buinaksk. One of those killed was reported to be Aliaskhab Kebekov, a.k.a. Amir Ali Abu-Muhammad, the leader of the Caucasus Emirate extremist group. (Reuters)
