Media Company President Severely Beaten In Siberia

A media company president has been seriously injured in a vicious attack in Siberia's largest city, Novosibirsk.

Boris Komarov was hospitalized with a fractured skull and a severe concussion after being badly beaten by at least two unidentified attackers on April 8.

Local police officials say they are investigating the incident.

It is not clear why Komarov was attacked.

According to Komarov's colleagues, the assailants used brass knuckles in the assault.

Komarov's Yuniton Media holding company owns six local radio stations, two advertising companies, and the Yuniton Show public relations agency.
