Vox Pops: Muscovites On Return Of Exclusive Stores For Foreigners

Russian officials are considering allowing a duty-free store to open in Moscow for the exclusive use of foreign diplomats and employees of international organizations. The proposal is similar to the Soviet-era Beryozka chain, where citizens could use hard currency to buy high-end foreign goods. RFE/RL's Russian Service asked Muscovites about their memories of Beryozka, and their opinions on the return of a similar institution.
