Tens of thousands of people attended a pro-Kremlin march in central Moscow to mark National Unity Day on November 4. The holiday was created by President Vladimir Putin to celebrate a Russian victory over Polish forces in 1612. A few thousand people also took part in nationalist marches not affiliated with the Kremlin on the outskirts of the city. (RFE/RL's Russian Service)
