Dissident Artist Slams 'Clericalization' Of Russian Culture

A "clerical ideology" is being forced upon on Russian culture and society, according to performance artist Pyotr Pavlensky. Speaking to Melanie Batchina from RFE/RL's Russian Service, Pavlensky said the Kremlin was driving a process of "clericalization," just as it had imposed atheism during Soviet times.
