3 Missing, At Least 15 Hospitalized After Explosion At Power Station In Siberia

The governor of Russia's Siberian region of Tyva, Vladislav Khovalyg, said on March 6 that an explosion caused a fire at a major power station in the city of Shagonar, adding that rescue teams were looking for three missing people. Local emergency officials say 15 people were hospitalized and 21 evacuated from the facility. Local authorities introduced a state of emergency in the Ulug-Khem district, where the incident cut off heating for some 4,000 residents.
