Ukrainian pilot Nadia Savchenko broke out into song after a Russian judge declared her guilty of complicity in the killings of two Russian journalists and in attempted killings of others during fighting in eastern Ukraine in June 2014. Savchenko began singing a patriotic Ukrainian folk song shortly before the judge announced her sentence, forcing precedings to be briefly interrupted. She was subsequently given a 22-year prison sentence. (Reuters)
