Factory Blaze In Southern Russia Kills Firefighter

A firefighter died while trying to put out a blaze at a factory in the southern Russian city of Vladikavkaz, the Emergency Situations Ministry said. The fire started in the early hours of October 21 and spread to engulf hundreds of square meters of the Elektrozink metallurgic plant. (Reuters)
