Dejan Soskic
Dejan Soskic is an economist who served as the governor of the National Bank of Serbia from 2010-2012 and is one of the few list members with high profile government experience. He has frequently called out corruption in the country since resigning from the National Bank, an issue he has claimed is “much more prevalent [in Serbia] than in neighboring countries.”
The 59-year-old has vowed a Students' List administration will fire “bad staff” from government positions and launch investigations into ownership of property held by public officials. Additionally, he vowed the list will accelerate reforms needed for Serbia's membership in the European Union, while the final decision on accession would be made through a referendum.
Soskic has criticized Western sanctions against Russia and called for a revised approach from Brussels towards the Kremlin.
Ilija Srdanovic
Ilija Srdanovic is a cardiologist and professor at the University of Novi Sad. The 56-year-old was named the lead candidate for the Students' List in September.
Srdanovic has not ruled out taking the prime ministership but said the list has “more than one candidate for every position.” Srdanovic has said the political grouping will prioritize tackling “organized crime and corruption.” He has supported Serbia’s claims on Kosovo, and said a decision on potential Serbian EU accession, “will be made by the citizens.”
Dejan Bodiroga
Dejan Bodiroga, a former basketball star, currently serves as the president of the Spanish-headquarted Euroleague Basketball.
Serbian media have called the 53-year-old the list’s “most famous name,” though his political positions are unclear. He condemned the government’s treatment of student protesters and its portrayal of them as "terrorists.” During protest rallies he called for the protesters to “fight for freedom, for dignity, for a society in which there will be no hatred or division, but mutual respect, justice and solidarity.”
Estela Radonjic Zivkov
Estela Radonjic Zivkov is a cultural heritage expert who became one of the key figures in the scandal that erupted over plans for a Trump-branded hotel to be built on the site of Belgrade’s NATO-damaged General Staff building.
In her position as deputy director of Serbia’s Republic Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments, Zivkov accused the government of violating the law on cultural heritage to greenlight the project. She was later relieved of her deputy director position.
She has said that her priority for a Students' List government will be to “restore independence and professional integrity to protection institutions,” and ensure experts can make decisions “based solely on the law and rules of the profession, without political and economic pressure.”
Zoran Djajic
Engineer Zoran Djajic was among the first to publicly blame corruption for the fatal collapse of the canopy of the Novi Sad railway station. During his own work at the site as a stonework consultant -- which ended in 2023 -- he photographed and reported on what he believed was dangerously poor construction.
The 71-year-old has voiced lurid criticism of former Serbian leader Aleksandar Vucic, and was arrested in April 2025 after calling for people to vote for the death penalty for the then president. After the Students' List electoral victory he vowed Vucic would face charges of high treason and wrote that "the time of truth and justice is coming!"
Tihomir Stanic
Tihomir Stanic is an actor born in today’s Bosnia-Herzegovina who has featured in more than 130 film and television productions. In October 2025, the 65-year old resigned from Belgrade’s Academy of Arts, along with several others over what they described as “gross violation of academic practice and integrity that culminated in threats to students."
The veteran actor has called for politics to be excised from Serbia’s cultural institutions, and has claimed the Vucic government “began to determine who would manage the theater, how it would function, who would work, who would not, who would get a chance and who would be punished.”
