Syrian Interpreter Helps Compatriots At Serbian Camp

Tamara Jassem is a 22-year-old Arabic translator at a refugee center in Presevo, in southern Serbia. Her mother is Serbian, and her father comes from Syria -- where she was raised. Tamara fled her home in Deir al-Zor in 2013 and has met many of her old friends while working at migrant camps across Serbia. (RFE/RL's Balkan Service)
