Oscar-winning U.S. director Steven Spielberg is reportedly planning to produce a movie set partly on the de facto border between India and Pakistan in the disputed Kashmir region.
Spielberg, on a trip to Mumbai, told "The Times of India" that the film would be produced by his DreamWorks Studios and its Indian partner, Reliance Entertainment, which is headed by billionaire Anil Ambani.
Spielberg said that the script has already been completed but that the director, cast, and location still have to be chosen.
The 66-year-old director, whose movies include the Academy Award-winning "Schindler's List" and "Saving Private Ryan," is in Mumbai to celebrate the success of his latest film, "Lincoln," co-produced by Reliance Entertainment.
Mumbai is the center of India's movie industry, known as Bollywood.
