Suicide Bomber Kills At Least 15 In NW Pakistan

Police say a suicide bomber has blown himself up in a busy market in northwest Pakistan, killing at least 15 people.

About two dozen more were injured.

The attack took place in Kohat district, some 70 kilometers southwest of the city of Peshawar.

The target of the bombing was unclear, but the explosion took place as people were about to board a bus to the nearby tribal district of Orakzai.

The blast is the latest in a series of recent bombings being blamed on Taliban and Al-Qaeda militants active in the border regions near Afghanistan.
