A Syrian activist group says more than 120,000 people have been killed so far in the 31-month conflict in Syria.
The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said on October 31 that they have documented 120,296 people, including 42,495 civilians, who have been killed in fighting in Syria since unrest broke out in March 2011.
The group also said that the dead included 187 members of Lebanon's Shi'ite Hizballah group, 61 non-Syrian fighters on the side of the Syrian government, and 2,772 unidentified people.
On July 25, the UN estimated 100,000 people had been killed in the Syrian conflict.
The UN has not updated that figure since then.
