Taliban Bombing Against Rival Group Kills At Least Five

At least five people have been reported killed in a suicide bomb attack in northwestern Pakistan.

The attack occurred in the remote Tirah valley in the Khyber tribal district, an area that has seen clashes between rival militant groups.

Most of the dead were reported to be from the Lashkar-e-Islam militant group.

A spokesman, Muhammad Afridi, for Tahreek-e-Taliban, Pakistan's main umbrella Taliban faction, claimed responsibility for the attack, in which he claimed more than five militants, including commanders, were killed.

The bombing came three weeks after a similar attack left at least 22 Lashkar-e-Islam fighters dead.
