Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan urged Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak today to listen to the demands of his people.

In a weekly speech in parliament, Erdogan said Mubarak should "meet the people's desire for change without hesitation."

Erdogan described his appeal to Mubarak as "a very sincere advice, a very sincere warning." Turkey's diplomatic influence in the Middle East has risen in recent years, as its once good relations with Israel soured.
