A gunman has killed four staff members of a university in the northwestern Turkey.
The state-run Anadolu agency said the attack occurred on April 5 at Osmangazi University in the city of Eskisehir.
It described the shooter as a researcher at the university, and said the dead included a deputy dean, a secretary, and two teaching staff.
The Dogan news agency said police apprehended the gunman.
Hasan Gonen, the university's rector, said on April 5 that the gunman considered the victims to be supporters of a self-exiled Muslim cleric in the United States, Fetullah Gulen, who has been accused by Turkey's government of orchestrating a failed coup in July 2016 against President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
