Forest Fires Ravage Outskirts of Kyiv

Drone footage shows the aftermath of a forest fire on the outskirts of the Ukrainian capital Kyiv. At least 24 hectares of forest have been destroyed by fires which were sparked by record temperatures this month, reaching nearly 36 degrees Celsius. With thick smoke covering much of Kyiv, officials have closed the city's schools for the rest of the week and advised residents to keep their windows closed. (RFE/RL Ukrainian Service)
