Poroshenko Reassures Mariupol Of Kyiv's Support

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko on September 8 visited the eastern port city of Mariupol, where sporadic shelling on the weekend disrupted the fragile cease-fire. Poroshenko said Ukrainian security forces are prepared to defend the city from separatists, and are "prepared for the worst." (RFE/RL)
