Ukrainian Prankster Gets Probation For Attacking Brad Pitt

A notorious Ukrainian prankster who attacked Brad Pitt at a Hollywood red carpet event on May 28 has been put on probation for three years after pleading "no contest" to charges of battery and unlawful activity.

Vitaliy Sedyuk also must serve 20 days of community labor and undergo psychological counseling.

A court in California on May 30 ordered him to stay away from red-carpet or celebrity events, and from the Hollywood and Highland Center -- home of the Academy Awards.

A restraining order requires that he remain at least 500 meters from Pitt and his partner, Angelina Jolie.

Sedyuk was fired by Ukraine's 1+1 TV channel in early May after diving under the dress of actress America Ferrera on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival.

His pranks also have targeted Will Smith, Madonna, Leonardo DiCaprio, and the Grammy Awards.
