The U.S. Secretary of State, John Kerry, said childhood experiences of living in Cold War Berlin had ''touched me significantly," after a visit to remnants of the Berlin Wall on October 22. Kerry said it had shown him the difference between freedom and oppression. Kerry's visit came a few weeks before celebrations marking the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Wall. (Reuters)
