Ousted Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych said there should be an investigation into the death of police officers during the 2014 Euromaidan revolution. He made the comments at a press conference on November 25 in the Russian city of Rostov-on-Don where he now lives in exile. Earlier in the day, Yanukovych appeared by videolink before a Kyiv courtroom in the trial of five former police officers. They are charged with fatally shooting scores of antigovernment protesters in 2014. Yanukovych said there should also be justice for police officers who were killed during the protests.
