Armenia Sending Troops To Iraq


Armenian President Kocharian 6 September 2004 -- Armenia is sending 50 troops to Iraq. Armenian President Robert Kocharian and Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski formalized the deal today in Warsaw.

The Armenian troops will join the 8,000-strong Polish-led multinational force that is currently in charge of securing a broad area of south-central Iraq.
