Three Polish Soldiers Die In Iraq Helicopter Crash


15 December 2004 -- Three Polish soldiers were killed in a helicopter crash in Iraq.

Lieutenant Colonel Artur Domanski, a spokesman for the Polish-led multinational division in Iraq, said today the three died after engine failure forced the helicopter to make an emergency landing about 8 kilometers from Karbala.

He said four other soldiers were injured in the crash.
