Seven Homeless People Murdered In Russia


1 August 2005 (RFE/RL) -- Seven homeless people, including two children aged 10 and 12, were found murdered today in a house in the town of Artem in the Russian Far East.

ITAR-TASS reported that police initially said the victims were all stabbed to death, although later accounts specified that one, a woman, bore no apparent wounds on her body.

An investigation into the mass murder is in progress.
