Kazakh Factory Blast Kills Four


4 August 2005 (RFE/RL) -- At least four people were killed and six injured today in a blast at an explosives factory in Kazakhstan.

The explosion happened at a factory located about 40 kilometers outside the town of Jezkazgan in Karaganda Oblast.

The private factory makes the kind of explosives that are used in heavy industries, such as mining.
