Group Claims To Have Killed U.S. Hostage In Iraq

19 December 2005 -- The extremist group Islamic Army of Iraq claims in a statement posted to the Internet today that it has killed an American adviser taken hostage in Iraq.

The group posted a video that shows a blindfolded man on his knees being shot in the head.

The Islamic Army of Iraq identified the executed American hostage as Ronald Schulz.

Schulz was kidnapped earlier this month.
