Baghdad Car Bomb Kills Six


(RFE/RL) March 23, 2006 -- A suicide car bomb exploded outside the headquarters of a police unit in Baghdad, killing six people and wounding at least 22 others.

Police say most of the casualties were police officers.

Meanwhile, the AFP news agency, citing the U.S. military. reported that three Western aid workers held in Iraq were freed today. The three men include two Canadians and one Briton who were abducted in November.
