Bomb Near Iraqi Shi'ite Mosque Kills At Least 26


(RFE/RL) April 13, 2006 -- A car bomb near a Shi'ite mosque in Iraq is reported to have killed at least 26 people and injured some 70 others.


The explosion came late on April 12 outside a mosque in Howaydir, a village near Ba'qubah, northeast of Baghdad.
