Iranian Dissident Says Stop Enrichment


Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadinejad (file photo) (epa) May 11, 2006 -- A leading Iranian opposition politician says Tehran should end uranium enrichment to avoid dragging itself deeper into a diplomatic crisis over its nuclear program.


Ebrahim Yazdi, head of Iran's banned Freedom Movement, says Tehran cannot rely on China or Russia to veto United Nations Security Council action against Iran.
