Armenian President Arrives In Iran


Armenian President Robert Kocharian (left) with his Iranian counterpart, Mahmud Ahmadinejad (epa) July 5, 2006 -- Armenian President Robert Kocharian arrived in Tehran today for talks expected to focus on supplies of Iranian natural gas to Armenia.


Kocharian will have talks with his Iranian counterpart, Mahmud Ahmadinejad, during the two-day-visit.


Agreements are expected to be signed in areas including customs, road building, science, education, culture, and the environment.


Kocharian will also meet representatives of the 200,000-strong Armenian community in Iran.
