Aeroflot To Buy Boeing And Airbus Planes


(ITAR-TASS) September 20, 2006 -- The Russian aireline carrier Aeroflot plans to buy 22 Boeing planes and 22 Airbus planes over the next 10 years.


The statement, by Aeroflot's chief executive Valery Okulov, comes after a major shareholder in Aeroflot, the National Reserve Corporation, announced on September 19 that a preliminary agreement had been reached to buy 22 Boeing planes.
