An Iraqi woman carries her injured daughter from the site of a bomb attack in Baghdad (file photo) (epa) November 30, 2006 -- The International Committee of the Red Cross today said it was "deeply shocked" by the ongoing attacks against civilians in Iraq.

The organization says it has been in contact with the Iraqi government, U.S. and international forces, and "more than a dozen non-state actors" in Iraq to urge them to stop the killing.

Meanwhile, reports say more than 50 bodies have been found across Baghdad in the past 24 hours. All bore signs of torture.
