April 9, 2007 -- At least 26 people were reported killed and 18 others injured in a collision between a bus and a truck in western Iran on April 8.
Iran's state-run television reports that the accident occurred while the bus passengers were returning to their homes in the central Iranian city of Isfahan from a pilgrimage to holy sites in neighboring Iraq.
All the dead were on the bus, which plummeted into a valley after the collision.
