Kazakh President To Answer Public's Questions On Internet


Nursultan Nazarbaev (file photo) (ITAR-TASS) ASTANA, June 6, 2007 (RFE/RL) -- Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbaev is going to hold a live Internet news conference on June 7, RFE/RL's Kazakh Service reported.

According to presidential spokesman Erlan Baizhanov, Kazakhs can post their questions until the afternoon before the press conference, and in the meantime Internet users will be given an opportunity to vote for their favorite questions.

Baizhanov said the president would answer 30 questions, which get most of the votes.
